Nikki Mckibbin, ex-participante do ‘American Idol’ faleceu no último domingo (1) aos 42 anos. Ela terminou em terceiro lugar na primeira temporada do programa, que foi vencida por Kelly Clarkson.
Segundo o portal TMZ, Nikki foi vítima de um aneurisma cerebral. A família estava ao seu lado na hora de sua morte.
Ao longo dos anos, Nikki enfrentou problemas com uso de drogas e álcool. Em 2008, ela chegou a aparecer em um programa chamado ‘Celebrity Rehab’ e, depois, no spin-off ‘Sober House’.
