Vários aviões militares americanos caíram na manhã desta segunda-feira (2) no Kuwait, mas os tripulantes sobreviveram, informou o Ministério da Defesa do país do Golfo, no terceiro dia de conflito com o Irã.
“Vários aviões militares dos Estados Unidos caíram esta manhã. Confirmamos que todos os tripulantes sobreviveram”, afirmou um porta-voz da pasta em um comunicado.
“As autoridades iniciaram imediatamente operações de busca e resgate, retiraram os tripulantes e os transportaram para um hospital para exames médicos e tratamento. A condição deles é estável”, acrescenta o comunicado.
Por meio de vídeos divulgados no X, é possível ver as aeronaves caindo sobre o território do Kuwait, próximo a uma base aérea dos Estados Unidos.
Uma das gravações mostra um jato em chamas despencando em um giro no céu, sugerindo que a aeronave caiu a menos de 10 quilômetros da base estadunidense de Ali Al Salem, no Kuwait.
